How do I create the print data for my printed infoboard WITH frame?
Due to tolerances during cutting the print file must be 6 mm larger on all sides than the desired sheet format (X x Y mm) should be.
The sheet is covered by the board frame on all sides by approx. 6 mm. As a result, the Infoboard inside/ visible dimension is approx. 12 mm smaller than the sheet format.
The Infoboard outer dimension is approx. 32 mm larger than the Infoboard inside/visible dimension.
General
Colours, background images and graphics should be placed right at the edge of the print format to avoid white margins.
Important information should have a safety margin of 20 mm to all edges of the print format, as the ALU frame is placed on top at the end and slightly covers (approx. 6 mm on all sides) the cut printed sheet.
The maximum sheet format for printed infoboards with frame is 2.995 x 1.192 resp. 1.192 x 2.995 mm.
Colour mode
Please always create the print data in colour mode CMYK.
Other colour modes are automatically converted to CMYK.
In this case colour deviations may occur. Transparencies are to be removed.
Text
Spelling and typesetting errors are not checked or corrected by us.
Texts must be converted to paths and embedded.
Comment and form fields must be removed.
Images
The resolution of images should be at least 300 dpi, if possible.
High resolution images ensure that images do not look pixelated.
File format
Please upload your print data online as an .eps, .ai vector-file or as an high-resolution.pdf-file.
Alternatively, please send us the files by e-mail to mail@infopoint.de .
